Gerd Mueller - legend in German football (International career & personal life)

Gerd Mueller in the German national team made his debut on October 12, 1966. He helped the team win the 1974 World Cup, scoring the winning goal in the final match. He also won the national team's European Championship in 1972 and third place in the World Championship in 1970. He was the best scorer in the 1970 tournament, scoring 10 goals. In total, at the German team he scored 68 goals in 62 games. Unfortunately Gerd pretty quickly finished his national career as he was 28 years old. After all, he was remembered as a great football player. During his entire football career he played a total of 660 matches, scoring 589 goals.
One of the biggest achievements of individual Mueller was the record-breaking 85 goals in one calendar year (in 1972). His record was 40 years old until Lionel Messi scored 92 goals in 2012 and beat him.
After his career he had personal and professional problems that caused him to become depressed and fall into alcoholism. The Bavarian activists at that time were helped him, involving him in youth training at the club. Unfortunately, Gerd Mueller has been suffering from serious Alzheimer's disease for several years now.

  1. Why did his career in the national team end so quickly?
Isn't it the fate of many sports people that once their career is finished (which usually happens quite early in their life), they just go off the rails, lose all their money and become dependent on other people?

  3. That's really sad to hear about past time's great star fall, and being now a slave in their body, while still having in mind the times when they were the ones referred to as those who can do unbelievable things with it.

Reflection

Some time ago at night I met a large group of wild boars, traveling along the road near my home. They looked rather frightened and upset, and this may have resulted from the lights flashed on each side and the noises of cars rang out. In spite of everything, the wild boars managed to cross the road safely, but in this confusion they strongly damaged the fence to cross to the other side of the forest. I watched the whole incident as an observer and it looked quite strange. Well, because a group of wild boars passing through the zebra crossing isn't an everyday sight. But I think that, in that situation when wild boars appeared on the road, all the drivers should stop and let boars to go to the other side, but in this case not everyone did the same and the animals suffered a big shock. Th ey could at least understand a little about the situation of these poor animals.

Report

This time I watched video about the "signs of intelligence". One of examples was about taking risk in situation when traffic lights turns yellow - will you stop and wait for the next one or rush before red turns on? After driving simulation tests on people, it turns out that those who take greater risks are smarter than those who prefer to wait. And all this due to the fact that they have more developed neural highway system in their brains. However, the example of nail biting surprised me the most. Well, this habit doesn't quite show that you are nervous, but it helps fight boredom and soothe dissatisfaction. Don't hesitate to ask me any questions. She was babbling so I couldn't understand what she exactly said. We all know that our chief has special  prerogatives. https://youtu.be/-iwmwdYhkoA

Does art have to be beautiful?

Art may or may not be beautiful. It may or may not be close to such feelings as suffering or love. In my opinion, art should have the right message and content from the author. To force observer's to think. Often in public opinion we hear that many works are "ugly" and "eccentric", and these works very often getting awards. In the eyes of critics of art or some people it looks completely different and they see the main message in the author's work and appreciate his creativity.
