Ruud Gullit - Dutch Football Machine

Ruud Gullit was a player who had unusual physical conditions and great determination. He was born on September 1, 1962 in Amsterdam. At the age of five, he began playing in the juniors and during this part of his career he visited two clubs. However, at the age of 17, he began playing in the senior team - HFC Haarlem (the Netherlands), spending three years there. His adult career was extremely abundant, because he visited six clubs during his long 19-year career. These clubs were, among others, Feyenoord Rotterdam, PSV Eindhoven, AC Milan, UC Sampdoria, Chelsea FC. He was the longest guest in AC Milan in 1987-1993, where he was included in one of the best teams in the world in that period. He played alongside such stars as Marco Van Basten, Frank Rijkaard and the Italian legend Paolo Maldini. All these aspects contributed to winning the European Cup in 1987 and individually Gullit was awarded the best European football player. After a very successful period in Milan, Ruud moved to UC Sampdoria in 1993-1995. His arrival helped the club win the Italian Cup and win many other important matches. However, in 1994 he returned to Milan for a short period, after which he returned to Sampdoria again. At the end of his career he came to Chelsea London (1995-1998) as part of a free transfer. For old years, Gullit knew he couldn't go to a strong team because he wouldn't play. That's why he moved to Chelsea, which was playing medium at that time.Interestingly, Ruud played in every possible position on the pitch during his career. However, as a senior player, he was mainly a midfielder, gaining really many goals as his position (about 200 goals in career). He currently works as an assistant coach of the Netherlands representation.

  1. He didn't 'visit' teams - he PLAYED for them. Also he wasn't a guest but a PLAYER. And the Netherlands have their NATIONAL TEAM not 'representation'.

  2. I'm a Chelsea fan, but I didn't know that Ruud played there for three years. In my opinion, impresive is that he could play in many positions during his career, it isn't common in football world.

Ferenc Puskás - the best Hungarian footballer in history.

Ferenc Pusk á s was one of the biggest football stars of the Hungarians in the last century. He was born on 2 April 1927 in Budapest, Hungary, and grew up outside of Budapest in Kispest. Already as a 16-year-old he had his senior debut at Kispest AC, (mainly because his dad was a coach). His father, from his young years, strongly encouraged him to play football. Finally he won five Hungarian championships with this team(1949-1955) and became the best scorer from Europe with 50 goals (it was 1948). At the age of 18, he had his debut in the senior team in Hungary, scoring his first goal against Austria. Ferenc was a striker with extraordinary agility, control of the ball and an amazing left foot. All his skills contributed to the fact that he joined Real Madrid (1958). There he continued his career, where together with Alfredo di Stefano (the second phenomenal striker) created a dream duo. During his nine-year career in Madrid he has won 5 National Championships and 3 European Cups, a

What do we learn about modern society in this film?

In the film, we certainly have evidence of what contemporary societies are disfigured and duplicitous. It focuses only on self-interest, not paying attention to others and sometimes even hurting them. In really many everyday situations, people pretend, who they really are, what they plan and what they think ... they also are ashamed to admit that they often escape from the problem they may encounter. In a certain form, we had such situations shown in the film.
